Happy Anniversary!!

Today is a good day...today we celebrate my FABULOUS grandparent's 52nd Wedding Anniversary! I am blessed to have such wonderful grandparents (on both sides) and today I am happy to wish Grandma Flo and Grandaddy a very happy day!

The other Anniversary I am celebrating today is the ONE YEAR Anniversary of adopting my precious boy Gus. I know some people think it's silly to be so attached to your four-legged friend, but let me tell you he is too wonderful to not be attached! I love walking in the door and being greeted by my little guy with so many kisses...I am so glad Tim pulled me away from the new puppies last year and made me go play with a 6 month old little Gustopher!

Below is a portion of an email my Uncle Paul sent out and I thought it was fitting to add to my blog today....

Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like :
*When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

*Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

*Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.

*Stretch before rising.

*Run, romp, and play daily.

*Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you're not.

*When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.

So much has gone on in the last week...AJ's 3rd birthday party at a great park & my quick trip to Ponte Vedre with Mom, Ashley, AJ, Tricia & her girls, Shannon & her kids...we had so much fun!!

Happy 3rd Birthday AJ!

Today is my oldest nephew's third birthday! It seems like he was just born and so tiny you could hold him in just about one hand...but now he is growning up and such a fun little boy to be around! He is so special to our family and such a source of joy (and energy!) to everyone he meets!

I hope you have a wonderful birthday today AJ! Your "Aunt Cwissi" loves you very much!!!
