...it's official

I've been asked to go to Beijing for a portion of the Olympics this coming August! I am pretty excited about going overseas, and seeing China. Because of my AIG program, I am not able to get away for 30+ days, so I am helping with what is called a final wave program. This means our client is only bringing guests for the last wave of the Games, and closing ceremonies. As it stands right now, I will be in Beijing August 11-28. I will be back just in time to turn 25...ha

And for those of you who didn't know, 8 is deemed a 'lucky' number in Chinese culture, and the Opening Ceremonies will be on August 8, or 8.8.08, at 8:00pm. Pretty fun fact :)

This little girl is precious. I don't know a darn thing about Star Wars, but her story makes it something to be interested in...enjoy!

fun quiz

If you need to kill five minutes, take this quiz...it's some what tricky. Well, maybe it depends on who is taking the quiz. Let me know how you do. I got 14 out of 25. More than half...haha...I was pleased.

Back at home...

What a week I had out in Phoenix!!! Running a transportation program for almost 100 people is very hard work! I will never look at riding a shuttle the same way again :) I got to meet some pretty cool people, and saw some very fun things. Sports Illustrated is a fun company to pair along with for events! And, to top it all of, I actually got to GO TO THE SUPER BOWL!! This is very exciting for me because I've never really thought I would go. Not that I have ever cared about going to an NFL game, but really because it's the Super Bowl! Oh, and Tom Petty was great too! Watching them set a stage like that in such short time is nothing short of amazing. Set-up and tear down took place in about 4 minutes...four whole minutes! Pretty impressive. Now I just have to You Tube all of the commercials I missed.
