What a Whirlwind!!

Last weekend I went to Nashville with some awesome gals to run my first half marathon! We had an amazing weekend and a great run! My life changed so much after crossing that line. I trained for three months and pushed myself harder than I have before. Truly though, I had no idea just how much my life would change....

Mom and I crossed the finish line together at 2:22 & it felt so good! Did not train enough for those hills, but that's beside the point now. So I came out of the food area (which I could have stayed longer but mom wanted to get out of there for some reason....haha) and was thrilled to see my sister & hug her neck. We turned the corner & I saw my awesome boyfriend who had roses & a balloon that said "you are the best" which is a phrase we use often. I was so happy to see him & happy to receive my goodies too! So, we stood there for a bit & my sister took a photo.

So at this point Bobby turns around and says "now picture this"....and got down on one knee....and my heart skips a beat and I have no clue what took over my body but I said "no you are not" at least 5 times and could not stop laughing. BL said the most wonderful things and of course I screamed yes when he asked me to be his wife....Best. Moment. EVER. And the crowd around us cheered a little & congratulated us. Oh man, I am getting married to my best friend...to say I am thrilled would be putting it mildly.

One of my sisters was there, so the first call I made was to my other sister. This picture was taken when we were on the phone. I'm not quite sure if I'm exited here....

I'm beyond blessed to have this man & I can't wait to become Mrs. Bobby Lyons!!!
