Two posts in one day....craziness. Just thought it was fun that my wedding shoes are mentioned on one of my favorite sites in the world, Style Me Pretty, today...guess I've got style after all.
Which ones you ask? Well, that I can not yet tell...

tales from the world of conference calls
I feel like my common reason for missing anything is "I can't do ______ because I have a conference call". The very close second would simply be "I can't do _____ because I have to get ready for a conference call".
Sound familiar?
Picking up the phone and dialing in to a line where you have to state your name after the beep (PS, I hate when there is a ROLL CALL involved where they actually play back everyone's 'name after the beep') and then wait for everyone to join so you can begin. Whatdrives me crazy is really fun is when you are waiting on someone who is late & you have to make small talk with others on the phone. Do you know how many times a week I talk about the Braves or the weather in "hot-lanta" (as everyone outside of Atlanta says) while waiting on someone to join a call?! It is certainly not the highlight of my day.
Ok, ok, I am sure you're thinking that I am complaining a lot for someone who loves my job so much. Truth is, I do love my job. Honestly, I think it's one of the best in the world....but I still don't like conference calls. I like my boss, I like my colleagues and I like my clients, I just do not like conference calls. I am much more of a one-on-one call kind of gal, and someone who would just rather do the work and get stuff done than get everyone's feedback at once on a conference call line.
Anyone relate?
Well, I certainly don't want to end my post sounding like such a sourpuss. On a very happy note, I will have a new last name in 30 days. I was talking to Bobby yesterday about whether or not he will cry. He played it cool, but I know this man. There will be tears.
Finally, I would like to share this adorable video with you...I could watch this daily (and judging from my above post, perhaps I should....)

Sentimental Value
I was asking my mom about songs we could play before or during the wedding and briefly mentioned the classic by Peter, Paul & Mary called 'The Wedding Song'. I was going back & forth as to whether or not I wanted it (my MIL suggested it, and I had never heard it) when Mom told me that it was the song performed before her and my dad's ceremony. I am a sucker for sentimental value, especially when it involves my family....needless to say, this song will be used in 33 days. That's right THIRTY THREE days. Wowza!

Binder Clips
It occurred to me just the other night that I may be bordering on an obsession with binder clips.
They are just so sticking useful!
(this is typical)
(who needs real 'Chip Clips' anyways?!)
(maybe not so typical but SO useful!!)
....I wonder what random items other people find 'useful' in their houses?!

home again, home again....jiggidy jigg.
Wow, it's AUGUST!! I have been back in the states for two whole weeks now and I feel like I was never gone, although by looking at the calendar I see I have missed a lot! I had the trip of a lifetime, but now I am so happy to be back home and counting the days until I am a Mrs.!! ...54 to be exact! WOW!!! Update on the wedding plans....
Last week was a really fun girls getaway with my sisters Ashley and Elizabeth and our momma, Mel! I love spending time with them! Sister Elizabeth (makes her sound like a nun, ha!) has cute pictures up to view. I didn't bring my camera so you will have to look at her blog about the trip here.
Well that's all for now. Stay tuned for some more wedding updates as we get closer. So excited about the showers that are being planned and can't wait to celebrate with the people I love the most!
Make it a great day!
